Mufti Day - Friday, 3 April
Mufti Day is a long held tradition of Perth Modern School; with students dressing up in a theme and fundraising for a chosen charity while having loads of fun in the process!
Please start encouraging your child to put away their coins each week to bring with them to Mufti Day being held on Friday, 3 April. Together as a school community we can enjoy dressing up, shopping at stalls and participating in activities to raise money for a worthy cause. We will be revealing our chosen charity as well as the dress up theme very soon so watch this space!
Parents and caregivers are reminded that is not permissable to take photos or video at any school event such as the House Swimming Carnival, concerts, assemblies, drama productions etc. Parents are also not permitted to take any photos or videos on the school campus. Thank you for your co-operation.
Parents are reminded that if your child is absent for the day, please ensure that you send a message to the SMS on 0409 109 784 each day of the absence. Please do not email nor leave a message on the school's answering service.
Commencing Monday, 24 February Transperth will be running additional short services on the Yellow CAT and Route 28 benefitting students at Perth Modern School. The additional Route 28 services will provide an alternative to heavily patronised Yellow CAT services.
Please see information below regarding these new services.
Parents please remind your child to show courtesy to others when riding on public transport. Students travelling on a student fare must stand for adults. Students are requested to put their school bags on the floor rather than keep them on their backs as this takes up a lot of space at busy peak periods.
Parents, caregivers and grandparents are reminded that they must first report to reception and receive a visitor pass if you attending the school site for any purpose ie making a payment, visiting the second hand uniform shop etc. It is advisable to collect children who are leaviing school early due to illness or for any reason in the car pick up areas.
Every student at Perth Modern has been given the school diary at the start of the year. Parents, please peruse the information contained in the diary as it contains important information neccessary for your child succeeding.
