The Department of Health has directed that any individual who has returned from Hubei Province of China must isolate themselves from the workplace or school for a period of 14 days from the day they left Hubei Province.
The Department of Health advise that if a student has been in contact with someone who has contracted the virus, they should seek medical advice and stay away from school until they are clear of symptoms for 14 days.
As an extra precaution, if a student has travelled to or through China or Hong Kong in the past two weeks, parents are asked to keep them away from school for a period of 14 days from the date they returned to Perth.

The training is designed for students who are competitive swimmers and will likely represent the school at the Division A SSWA Interschool Swimming Carnival on March 20. Selection for the school team will be based on results from the whole school House Swimming Carnival on March 4 and official times from outside meets. Students who have a heavy schedule in outside club training will not be disadvantaged if they do not attend school squad training. Parents/Guardians of students who would like to participate should email Mr Muir on mark.muir@education.wa.edu.au An invite to the training via Consent2Go will then be sent. Students must have Consent2Go permission to attend the training.

All students will be transported back to the school in the school bus at the end of training. YEARS 10-12 - APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL EXAMINATION ARRANGEMENTS FOR WACE EXAMS
Candidates who have a permanent or temporary disability, illness and/or specific learning disability that could disadvantage them in demonstrating their knowledge, skills and understandings in standard assessments may have their school apply to the School Curriculum and Standards Authority to sit ATAR course examinations under special arrangements.
Applications can be made for the written and and/or practical examinations.
The granting of special examinations arrangements is not automatic, but takes into account medical and/or psychometric evidence plus supporting school-based information related to the candidate’s ability to access the examination. The role of special examination arrangements is to provide reasonable access to an examination. Each application is considered individually, with decisions based on the nature of each examination to be sat by the candidate.
Please contact School Psychologist Penelope Radunovich on 9380 0510 or penelope.radunovich@education.wa.edu.au regarding applications for special arrangements.
Applications must be submitted by Thursday, 2 April 2020.
