Parents could you please discuss with your child/ren about appropriate behaviour on public transport. Please remind them of the following issues:

  • Be aware of others around them and watch the noise level and language used.
  • Students are expected to stand and offer their seat to an adult as they are travelling on a concession card.
  • Do not congregate around doorways to allow other easy access for others on or off and no rushing to be first on or off.
  • Be mindful of where school bags are placed so as not to trip up other communters or blocking pathways.

Road Safety

Please reiterate to your child/ren to be conscious of their surroundings and cross at controlled intersections such as cross walks and traffic lights. It is important that they only cross when it is safe to do so.
