The most popular girl in school has disappeared prompting a lockdown in the suburb of Pleasant Lakes. Fear and hysteria grip the community, but all is not what it seems. Amidst the chaos, two girls form an unlikely connection and collude in the construction of a gigantic lie.
Inspired by media reports involving the story of a girl who faked her own abduction, Girl Who Cried Wolf examines the cult of celebrity and machination of the school playground hierarchy.

A reminder that Perth Modern School staff will be undertaking a Professional Development Day on Monday, 25 October 2021 and the school is closed to students on this day.
ALL STUDENTS: PHYSICAL EDUCATION HAT POLICY
A reminder that during Physical Education lessons in Term 4, all students are required to bring a hat to class for sun safety. Can parents please check that hats are labelled clearly with the name of their child.
ALL STUDENTS: ABSENTEE PROCEDURE
Late Arrivals and Leaving Early
All students are required to sign in at Student Services if they arrive late to school. Students must present a completed note from a parent in the back of their diary to Student Services to obtain a Leave Pass when leaving the school early.

To advise the school of absences, please email or SMS the Name of student, Advocacy and Reason for Absence.

To improve our communications with parents and to ensure that our attendance records are accurate, Student Services will be sending out a weekly letter identifying unresolved absences (per period or day) and late arrivals for their child. If you receive one of these letters, please assist the school by completing the instructions on the letter. We thank you for your assistance.

YEAR 12 ATAR COURSE STUDENTS: IMPORTANT INFORMATION
ATAR Year 12 course SCSA Examination Information
The 2021 Year 12 ATAR course written and practical examination timetables can be accessed via the School Curriculum and Standards Authority website: https://senior-secondary.scsa.wa.edu.au/assessment/examinations/examination-timetables.
The 2021 Year 12 ATAR course written examinations are scheduled from Monday, 1 November to Friday, 19 November 2021.
From Thursday, 9 September 2021, students will be able to download their written examinations timetable and practical examination timetable from the student portal: https://studentportal.scsa.wa.edu.au.

Academic Task Force - ATAR Revision Courses
During the October school holidays, Academic Group is offering Premium ATAR Revision Courses. These courses are specifically designed to help your Year 11 and Year 12 ATAR students maximise their grades and ATAR scores.
The ATAR Revision Courses are available both Online and Face to Face.
A Skills Development Program is available for students in Years 7- 10.
