These events presented the opportunity for staff and students to carry out our evacuation protocols.
The aim of any drill is to equip staff to react quickly and calmly, to prepare students so they feel at ease during an evacuation and to minimise the risk to all present in the event of a real emergency.

YEAR 12 AND ATAR COURSE STUDENTS: EXAMINATIONS
The final Year 12 ATAR course examinations for 2021 include the Perth Modern School Term 3 school-based examinations and the School Curriculum and Standards Authority’s WACE examinations.
Exam Schedules
The Term 3 school based written examination schedule is available via Connect > Library > Curriculum Assessment & Reports > CAPS & Exams - 2021_Year 12 Course Exam Timetable Overview. Personalised written examinations timetables will contain the date, time and room for the student’s written examinations and will be issued to students by Friday, 10 September 2021.
During exam time students enrolled in ATAR courses may study at home or in the Parsons building prior to the exams. Years 10 or 11 students enrolled in a Year 12 ATAR course will have the day prior to the exam off for study purposes, and then will return to normal timetable on completion of the course exam. The timetable is suspended for Year 12 Courses during Weeks 9 and 10 (Monday, 13 - Friday, 24 September).
Timetables for the 2021 SCSA examinations are available here for Years 11 and 12 | Examination Timetables (scsa.wa.edu.au) and students will download their personal timetables through the SCSA student portal login.
To meet WACE requirements, Year 12 students who are enrolled in a Year 12 ATAR course are required to sit the ATAR course examination (written and, in some courses, practical) for that course.
If a student does not sit an ATAR course examination and does not have an approved Sickness/Misadventure Application for the course, the pair of units completed in that year will not contribute towards any of the WACE requirements.
