ALL YEARS: NO CLASS FOR STUDENTS MONDAY, 19 AND TUESDAY, 20 JULY
Students will not have classes on Monday, 19 July and Tuesday, 20 July due to a Staff Development Day and the Parent Teacher Interview Day.
Term 3 and normal timetable classes will commence on Wednesday, 21 July.
ALL YEARS: PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS TUESDAY, 20 JULY 2021
A reminder of the upcoming Parent Teacher Interview Day. The school timetable is suspended for the full day whilst the parent/teachers interviews are conducted. Students can be supervised in the Library from 8.30am until 3.30pm, or they can attend the interviews with their family member.
Face to Face Interviews: 8.45am-12.01pm
Phone Interviews Only: 12.22pm-1.46pm
Face to Face Interviews: 2.07pm-6.52pm
Parental attendance at these sessions is optional with bookings being made via the Parent Teacher Online (PTO) portal. Information on how and when you can book the Parent/Teacher Interviews through Parent Teacher Online (PTO) were provided with your students Semester 1 report.

ALL YEARS: WINTER CONCERT CONCERTS RESCHEDULED
Due to the current lock down this week, the Winter Concert 2 and Winter Concert 3 were postponed.

YEAR 10 STUDENTS: 2022 YEAR 11 LANGUAGES COURSES
If your child intends to enrol in a Year 11 Languages course in 2022, please be aware that SCSA requires all students to complete an eligibility process, ensuring equity across all courses. This year, the process has moved online. Any student currently studying a Year 10 Languages course has been given information about this process by their teacher, with more information available via an information booklet on Connect.

The school deadline to complete the online process is Friday, 6 August. Please contact your child's classroom Languages teacher, or the Head of Languages, Francesca.Candaten@education.wa.edu.au, if you have any questions.
YEAR 12 ATAR STUDENTS : FINAL DATES TO WITHDRAW FROM YEAR 12 (AT) ATAR COURSES
Final dates to withdraw from Year 12 (AT) ATAR courses:
- Monday, 19 July 2021 – final date for withdrawing students from Year 12 (AT) ATAR courses with practical examination components. No changes will be made to student enrolments in these courses after this date.
- Monday, 2 August 2021 – final date for withdrawing students from Year 12 (AT) ATAR courses which do not have practical examination components. No changes will be made to student enrolments in these courses after this date.
Please note this applies to all students completing a Year 12 (AT) course - even those accelerating in a year level other than Year 12.

Second Hand Uniform Shop
The Second Hand Uniform Shop will be open:
- Parent Teacher Interview day - Tuesday, 20 July from 3.00pm to 5.00pm.
- The second and fourth Monday of the month during the school term - Monday, 26 July and Monday, 9 August from 8.30am to 12.30pm.
The shop is located in the School Refectory next to the Joseph Parsons Library. The shop runs on card payments and a no return basis.
Basketball Camp School Holidays
Got Game Basketball is excited to offer their first ever school holiday camps!
We offer youth of different ages and skill levels the opportunity to boost their confidence and self-esteem through basketball.
Sessions are coached by Josh Weir; one of WA's leading junior development coaches; and work towards using basketball to help kids apply the importance of teamwork, and build positive life skills, all while developing and refining their basketball skills.

Better Health Program
The Better Health Program is a 10 week healthy lifestyle program that focuses on eating habits, physical activity and behaviour change. The program has been created by nutrition, exercise and psychology professionals. It is for children aged 7-13 who are above a healthy weight and encourages the whole family to form lasting, healthy habits.
