Dear Parent/Caregiver and students
Please be advised that from 6.00pm tonight, Sunday, 31 January 2021 until 6.00pm Friday, 5 February, the Perth Metropolitan Area will enter a five-day lockdown, based on health advice. This advice includes schools, therefore Perth Modern School will be closed for our first scheduled week of 2021.
The summer holiday has been extended to include this first week.
Perth Modern responded to the challenges of COVID-19 in 2020 extremely well - a testament to the strength and resilience of our staff, students and parents. I am sure will will again manage and respond to this situation in the same positive way.
Whilst we understand these arrangements are frustrating, they are designed to ensure our health and safety.
The School will communicate via this platform any futher notices regarding the current situation.
