ALL YEARS: SECOND HAND UNIFORM SHOP MONDAY, 29 JUNE
ALL YEARS: UNIFORM SHOP OPENING HOURS
ALL YEARS: BUS 28 TIMETABLE CHANGE
Transperth have been very kind in accomodating a request from a Perth Modern parent. As students were rushing to catch the Bus 28 service, this service will now depart the Perth Busport five minutes later which will provide more time for the Perth Modern students to access the service. This change will take place from 19 July 2020 to coincide with other changes in the area.
Please remind your child about travelling safely to and from school and to practise public transport etiquette when using bus or train services. Some etqiuette points:
- It is best to not use a mobile phones whilst walking.
- Giving your seat for an elderly or full paying traveller will make both them and your child feel great.
- Be mindful of school bags that can often be forgotten when turning and moving through a crowded bus or train.
Please remember there is currently no onsite parking at the school. Parents needing to access the uniform shop or who have a meeting with a member of staff, will need to find street parking, or access the verge adjacent to the school oval on Subiaco Road. Cheap parking is also available at the old Princess Margaret Hospital site (access off Hay St). We thank you for your cooperation.
ALL YEARS: ARTS AND TECHNOLOGY FESTIVAL WEEK
Arts and Technology Festival Week has looked a little different this year - not having an opening night open to all parents and community members - the passionate members of staff have reinvented what it looks like to celebrate our talented students in these subject areas. This included an online community gallery, which can be viewed here: https://sway.office.com/6SiXePlaxjL5AcjA?ref=Link.

ALL YEARS: VIRTUAL SCHOOL TOUR
We have recently filmed a Virtual School Tour highlighting the students and school activities of Perth Modern School. We would like to thank all staff and students who assisted in the filming and creation of the video, we would not have been able to complete this without your cooperation and support.
Take a look here and be sure to share it with your friends and family.

- Reading and Numeracy where your child has pre-qualified for the Writing component based on Year 7 NAPLAN data.
Information will be communicated soon to prepare for the proposed test window for Reading and Numeracy 10–28 August 2020 and Writing 10–11 August 2020.
