ALL YEARS - ABSENCES DUE TO COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS)
The school is working with the advice from the Department of Education regarding COVID-19, in order to support our students' wellbeing and ensure as much routine as possible in the current situation.
The school remains open.
In circumstances where individual parents withdraw their children from school, without a direction from government/principal, there is no Departmental requirement for teachers to provide additional work/lessons for those students. However, we are well aware that some parents are keeping their child at home and these students may access Connect or any alternative learning platform that teachers have advised they are using, for instance MathsSpace, OneNote etc.
Absentees
Due to the unprecedented volumes of communication, we ask all parents to contact the school via the SMS absent system on 0409 109 784 stating your child’s name, reason for absence and the expected length of absence.
