Great results achieved by the class of 2019
in the WACE
I am delighted to announce that ATAR scores and School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCASA) awards have been released and the Class of 2019 has continued Perth Modern School's success in the number of students achieving outstanding results.
An incredible 67 students achieved an ATAR score of 99+ (a SCASA record) and four students achieved an ATAR of 99.95. In addition, 16 students achieved a General Exhibition and seven students were recipients of a Subject Exhibition. The Class of 2019 achieved a Median ATAR of 96.70 against the State average of 81.35.
Achieving a Median ATAR of 96.70 is a tremendous group effort and I congratulate the entire year group on this achievement. We are very proud of how our students have maintained motivation and focus throughout the year as well as taking opportunities to grow the whole person.
