COMMUNITY DAY - PURCHASE OF COMMUNITY DOLLARS
Buy Your Community Dollars Now
You are now able to purchase Community Dollars. Parents can buy Community Dollars via QKR, under ‘Fundraising’. There will be no cash transactions at the stalls. Community Dollars can be spent on a variety of delicious food and fun activity stalls.
REMINDER: Pre-sale of Community Dollars on QKR will close at 11.00am on Monday, 31 March. We advise pre-purchasing the dollars so students don't have to line up to purchase and miss out on any of the activities and stalls.
Please note: All Community Dollars purchased will go to FightMND; there will not be any refunds of unspent Community Dollars. All Community Dollars (spent and unspent) will go into a raffle to win exciting prizes.
The Community Dollars will be handed out to students on the day, prior to Community Day starting.

ALL YEARS - COMMUNITY DAY THRIFT STALL DONATIONS
ALL YEARS - NEW SCHOOL BOARD PARENT REPRESENTATIVE
The election for a new Parent Representative on the School Board has wrapped up, and we’re delighted to announce that Dr. Kati Tonkin has been selected for the role. We were fortunate to have three outstanding nominees, and we deeply appreciate their enthusiasm and readiness to contribute to the School Board. Thank you also to all the parents who participated in the voting process—your involvement truly makes a difference.
ALL YEARS - ENHANCING SAFETY AND EFFICIENCY DURING PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF
When dropping off or picking up your child at the start or end of the school day, please remain at the designated 'kiss and drop' locations or at Reception.
To ensure the safety and security of our school community, all visitors must sign in at Reception. Parents are not permitted to walk through the campus searching for your child or attend their classroom at the end of the school day. If you have a pre-arranged meeting with a teacher or staff member, please sign in at the front office to receive a visitor identification sticker, and Reception will notify the staff accordingly.
Thank you for your cooperation. Together, we can maintain a safe and productive learning environment for all our students.
ALL YEARS - YEAR 12 DRAMA PRODUCTION 'COSI' MONDAY, 31 MARCH AND TUESDAY, 1 APRIL
Get ready for a wild ride with Cosi, where young director Lewis teams up with patients in a 1970s mental institution for a bold social experiment—staging a performance that’s as chaotic as it is heartfelt! Set against the backdrop of Vietnam protests and second-wave feminism, it’s a fun, messy dive into love, mental illness, and the quirks of human connection that’ll spark some lively family chats. We’re bringing this quirky classic to life to show how yesterday’s struggles still hit home today!
Dates: Monday, 31 March and Tuesday, 1 April
Time: 7.00pm
Venue: Casey Theatre
Tickets: $10
Bookings: www.trybooking.com/DAHKC
ALL YEARS: PUBLIC TRANSPORT ETIQUETTE
We kindly ask parents to have a chat with their child about the importance of practicing good Public Transport Safety Etiquette. We've received feedback about some students not following these practices while traveling on the Mandurah Line, and a gentle reminder can go a long way in ensuring everyone has a safe and pleasant experience. Here are a few points to share:
-
Encourage them to be mindful of those around them by keeping noise levels low and using respectful language.
-
Remind them to offer their seat to an adult, as they are traveling on a concession card.
-
Highlight the importance of avoiding doorways, so everyone can board and disembark smoothly—no rushing to be first!
-
Suggest they keep school bags tucked safely out of pathways to prevent trips or blockages for fellow commuters.
Thank you for supporting us in helping students show care and consideration for others. Together, we can make public transport enjoyable for everyone!
