Chess Club Fun

When: Every Friday at Lunchtime

Where: AU15

The Chess Club is run by Year 12 student Maia Harlap who is a member of the very successful Perth Modern Chess team. All levels of ability are welcome. There will be a short lesson then plenty of time to play each other. Please encourage your child join the club if they enjoy playing chess. Students meet Friday lunchtimes in AU15.

It's almost time for camp! Students in Year 9 who are not going on the Canberra Tour or Ningaloo Camp are expected to attend the Dwellingup Camp. 

Tuesday, 29 October - in school preparation day

Wednesday, 30 October - Friday, 1 November - Camp at Dwellingup

Parents will receive a letter and Consent2Go invitation. Please carefully follow the instructions sent to you to ensure your child has a place on the camp.

Week 9, Term 4

When: Monday, 9 December – Friday, 13 December 2019

All Year 10 students will attend Skills Week unless your child is attending a school excursion or tour.

More detailed information will be sent out via Consent2Go in Term 4

Parent/Guardian Dinner

Where: Raffles Hotel, Applecross

When: Wednesday, 23 October

Time: From 7.00pm

Don’t miss out on our FINAL evening social gathering for parents/guardians of 2019 Leavers.

After dropping your child at the Yr 12 Dinner Dance, drive around the corner to the Raffles Hotel to meet with all other long-suffering (soon-to-be-relieved!) caregivers of Yr 12s, for a drink and/or meal.

Buy your own food and drinks at the bar.

Beach Tennis

Open to Years 7 -12

Term 4

When: Wednesday afternoons

Time: 3.15pm - 5.00pm

Fencing Club instructor Tuko Maia has a new club starting in Term 4. Beach Tennis will be running on the outdoor volleyball courts on Wednesday afternoons 3.15pm-5.00pm. NIDA SHORT COURSES


The National Institute of Dramatic Art is Australia’s leading not-for-profit centre for education and training in the performing arts.

NIDA offers acting short courses for Years 3–12 in Perth, with a Spring holiday NIDA Open program.

Students could create a collaborative piece for stage with our Drama School course, find the confidence for their next audition with the Audition and Screen Test course or experience NIDA’s core principles of actor training at the NIDA Actors Project for grades 11–12.

Courses run during the upcoming holidays from Tuesday, 1 October at the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle Campus.
