ALL YEARS - COMMUNITY DAY THURSDAY, 30 MARCH 2023
In 2023, there is a new name, but the same concept.
No longer called Mufti Day, we are now embracing Community Day! Community Day is a chance for the school community to come together, create a sense of belonging, build relationships and do something with meaning and purpose – raise money for charity. A Thriving Minds Day!
See below for the details:
Date: Thursday, 30 March 2023
Time: Recess, Period 3 and 4 and Lunch
Charity: Meals on Wheels
Dress Up Theme: My Favourite Decade
Meals on Wheels: Our Purpose
For almost 70 years, Meals on Wheels services in Western Australia have played a crucial role in supporting the health and wellbeing of thousands of older Australians every year across 90 service locations.
We support well-nourished, independent and connected communities through the delivery of a nutritious meal, social engagement and a wellbeing check by our dedicated volunteer workforce.
We deliver nutritious meals, conduct a wellbeing check and facilitate independence by keeping people connected within their communities.
Dress Up Theme
The 2023 Community Day theme is ‘My Favourite Decade’, so whether it is the roaring 20s, swinging 60s, fabulous 80s, denim 90s or anywhere in between, for a Community Dollar donation, students can recreate their favorite era for style. Best costumes will be in the running for a prize!
Donation: A Community Dollar or Gold Coin donation (if yet to pick up their Community Dollars for Period 1)

COMMUNITY DAY - PURCHASE OF COMMUNITY DOLLARS
Buy Your Community Dollars Now
You are now able to purchase Community Dollars. Parents can buy Community Dollars via QKR, or buy them with cash or card at the Finance Desk prior to the day. There will be no cash transactions at the stalls. Students will be able to purchase additional Community Dollars on the day. Community Dollars can get spent on a variety of delicious food and fun activity stalls.

The Community Dollars will be handed out on the day, prior to Community Day starting.
All Community Dollars (spent and unspent) will go into a raffle to win exciting prizes. So far we have a PS4 gaming console and an $200 Officeworks voucher up for grabs!
COMMUNITY DAY - PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING A PRIZE
