Students who are going on the European Music Tour will be performing a concert in the Beasley Auditorium before they leave for Italy and France on Tuesday, 2 July 2019 to perform in the Festival of Youth Orchestras.
No bookings are required, all members of the school community are welcome to attend this concert.
Perth Modern School will be visited by a group of Japanese students from a specialist Science school at the end of July.
Are there any Japanese speaking research scientists who would be happy to give a talk about their research?
If possible, we would like two-three to present.

Donations of good quality clothing are welcome now until the end of Term 2
The Senior Years Youth Ambassadors Advocacy are running a clothing drive on behalf of the Salvation Army and are looking for donations of winter clothing including scarves, gloves, beanies, jumpers, coats and blankets for the homeless over the winter period. Any items donated are asked to be of neutral or dark colours, as people living on the street do not like bright clothing as it brings too much attention to them. Students can drop off any donations to the Senior Years Youth Ambassadors Advocacy in AL4 during Advocacy on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

All Year 7 students will be performing in this concert.
Students are to wear formal school uniform (no blazer) to this concert.

The Year 9 camp has a new focus from previous years with the delivery of the ‘Into Adulthood’ program.
We invite you and your child to attend an information evening regarding the 2019 Year 9 Camp (excluding HASS Canberra/Sydney Tour and Ningaloo Tour students).
In addition, the program has a specific role for you, as parents, to play.
