The School Curriculum and Standards Authority recognises that individual students, under circumstances outlined in the special provisions policy, may need special external assessment arrangements to allow them to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and understandings with certain courses. 

To be eligible for Special Examination Arrangements (SEA) for ATAR Year 12 courses, an application is made by the school to SCSA in discussion with the student and parents, and must be submitted to SCSA by Thursday, 31 March, 2022. The School deadline for application completion is Friday, 25 March, 2022.

If your child is completing a Year 12 ATAR course in 2022, and:

• has received SEA at school level / or believe they have a condition that requires SEA
• has a diagnosed specific learning disorder that requires SEA
• has a diagnosed medical condition that requires SEA or
• wishes to apply for SEA for the WACE exam
