ALL YEARS - HAMILTON STREET BRIDGE CLOSURE
Do you drop your child off using Hamilton Street Bridge?
Please note there will a temporary closure – Monday, 25 February to September 2019
From Monday, 25 February 2019 the Hamilton Street Bridge across the railway line in West Leederville will close so the old timber bridge can be replaced with a new steel and concrete structure.
The bridge and adjacent Principal Shared Path (PSP) will close to enable works to begin. The closures are necessary while the old bridge is removed and replaced to ensure public safety within the project area and adjacent to the live passenger railway network.
Road and PSP Detours
Road users will need to access Hamilton Street south of the railway line, Perth Modern and other facilities using the posted detour routes via Haydn Bunten Drive to the west or Loftus Street to the east to move around the area.
PSP users will be directed away from the existing railway reserve path to a detour using White Place and Subiaco Road and back to the PSP at Loftus Street.
This project is anticipated to be complete in September 2019.
