From 10 December 2025, certain online platforms will be required under new government legislation to prevent under-16s from creating or maintaining social media accounts. 

The eSafety Commissioner is delivering a parent webinar to support this legislation.

The webinar will cover: 

• what the new legislation means for parents. 
• insights into how platform design features can impact young people's wellbeing. 
• strategies and resources to support young people through the transition.
