WRAP WITH LOVE - THE ROTARY INTERACT CLUB

The Rotary Interact Club within Perth Modern School is supporting Wrap with Love, a not-for-profit organisation that provides handmade blankets and wraps to people in need, both in Australia and worldwide.

So far, Wrap with Love has distributed over 600,000 wraps worldwide, including in  Australia, Armenia, Bangladesh and other countries facing hardship.

Students are encouraged to knit or crochet squares that will be made up into the blankets. Details of the requirements will be published to students via Compass.

To support this, we are requesting complete balls of 8ply yarn and no.8 (4mm) knitting needles.

All donations are appreciated and greatly accepted.  Please drop off at Mrs Reilly's office in Beasley.

Thank you for your support of this valuable cause.

Community Service Opportunity – Weeks 8 & 9

Students can earn one community service hour by donating a shoebox filled with at least five items, each from a different category listed above. Drop your shoebox off at Chaplain Shaye’s office (Lower Andrews) for verification.

If you can’t fill a shoebox but still want to contribute, you’re welcome to donate individual items to the House bins at Student Services to earn House points.

There will also be a sorting session in Week 9 for an additional service hour. Sign up here: https://forms.office.com/r/zLNuYBEFJb?origin=lprLink

Only 20 spots available – first come, first served. If donations are high, another session may be added in Week 10.
