ALL YEARS - CITY OF SUBIACO URBAN SAFETY ROAD PROGRAM
The City of Subiaco is seeking feedback about an Urban Road Safety Program proposal for the Subiaco East and Subiaco Station precincts. This is a Mains Roads WA funded road safety improvement project, which aims to create a safer environment for all road users through reducing vehicle speeds in the area. This program has been proposed to be undertaken in the Subiaco East and Subiaco Station precincts.
The scope of work of this proposal includes:
- Installation of 40km/h speed sections in these two precincts (please see concept design for locations).
- Installation of a mini roundabout on Subiaco and Coghlan Roads intersection.
- Installation of raised plateaus with coloured asphalt combined at various road sections (please see concept design for locations).
- Installation of a raised wombat crossing on Station Street between Marketlane (Coles) and the Subiaco Station (see Subiaco Station precinct concept plan).
- Installation of brick paved entry statements at seven intersections (please see concept design for locations).
- Installation of signs and line marking in accordance with Main Roads WA Guidelines.
