P&C Second-hand Uniform Shop (SHUS)

The Second Hand Uniform Shop is located in the Andrews Building. 

Our opening days are:

Term 3: 

• Thursday, 8 August 2.00pm to 4.30pm (special opening for transition day)
• Monday, 12 August 8.30am to 11.00am

Monday, 9 September 8.30am to 11.00am

Term 4: 

• Monday, 14 October 8.30am to 11.00am
• Monday, 11 November 8.30am to 11.00am
• Thursday, 28 November 2.00pm to 4.30pm (special opening for transition day)

Monday, 9 December 8.30am to 11.00am

The P & C SHUS volunteers are delighted to receive any good quality, clean (please wash before donating) and resaleable uniform items that are no longer required.  Please hand the items in at reception or directly to the SHUS at any of our opening days.

P & C Approvals and News

This semester we have approved the following School Support Projects:

• $7,919 - Design and Technology – 10x Lego Spike Prime kits and 8 advanced sensors
• $12,600 - Design and Technology - specialist projects involving Spotted Gum timber felled in 2019
• $3,000 - Design and Technology – MDT General course related purchases – furniture projects
• $13,204 Conversation Series 2024
• $7,150 MI7 Mental Health Survey – Institute of Positive Education
• $2,000 Stokes Outdoor Classroom & Garden Shed
• Friends of Performing Arts Support – Snack Bar and Other Support Items budget for Addams Family

Total $49,873

All P&C members present also gave in principle approval for a request for support from Friends of Music (FoM) that was received after the Agenda was issued.  The request was for $600 for lunch catering for compulsory full-day musical rehearsal (Saturday June 15) for music students performing in the prestigious inter-school Opus concert.  An Executive Committee Meeting of the P&C Executive will be held to consider that item as per 14.1 to 14.7 of the P&C Constitution.   

P&C Next Meeting

Our next P&C meeting will be held on Tuesday 30 July at 7pm in the McCusker Boardroom in the Beasley Building.  Scheduled P&C meetings are Tuesday of Week 3 and week 7 each school term.  All parents and interested citizens are welcome.   The agenda and instructions to join online will be available on our Facebook page.  If you are coming along in person, please come for an informal catch-up from 6.30pm. The formal meeting (and online) will start at 7.00pm.
