Harmony Week – Everyone Belongs 

Harmony Week is a week to celebrate Australian multiculturalism. It is an opportunity for all Australians to embrace cultural diversity and to share what we have in common.

Our cultural diversity is one of our greatest strengths and is at the heart of who we are. An integrated multicultural Australia is an integral part of our nation's history and character.

As part of this National Celebration event, Perth Modern will run a number of events during Week 8, Monday 18 March - Friday, 22 March.

Harmony Week - Free Dress Theme - Friday, March 22

Students are welcome to wear multicultural dress or accessories or wear the event colours Orange or Red. If students would prefer to wear their normal school uniform this is ok.

Please consider some of the safety aspects of wearing appropriate clothing for the activities and classes students are participating in on the day e.g. having hair tied back in D&T, enclosed shoes. Please consider respectful clothing on this day too.
