To celebrate World Giving Day on November 28 some students at Perth Modern School are getting together at Blue Gum Community Centre in Brentwood to help prepare gifts for homeless youth across the state and partnering with charities including Vinnies Passages, Youth Futures and Second Bite.

The gifts, complete with cards, are being perpared at a community cooking event open to the public on Sunday, 26 November at Blue Gum Community Centre with appropriate supervision, public liability insurance and a commercial kitchen.

Interested students can chat to Beatrice Chong and Monroe Wang in Year 10 and Bernice Wong in Year 7.
